Meeting someone at the airport next week. I have been there many times myself and normally meet my driver at gate 3. I just can't remember if those gate areas, down where the ATM's and exchange kiosks are, is on level 2 or not. Meeting someone travelling overseas for the first time and need to make sure all ok

My missus reckons the area to meet, the main doors front of the airport, where they have doors 1 - 4, where all the ATMs and cash exchange kiosks are is on the same level as where you walk out of the immigration / baggage area?

Why so many ATM kiosks at the departure? Why would departing passengers need them?

They are in case departing people need to give extra money to their loved ones before they depart, of course.

To get money for wherever they're going. Some of them dispense dollars, which I've found useful when departing for Vietnam or Cambodia, for example.

I find these "humorous" replies so annoying. I need to pick someone up at the airport. Who said anything about ATM's at "departure"? BY departure you mean departing the airport? (Moron) Someone is arriving (arrivals). This sort of crap just skews everything off topic

You've already got the answer to your question. Why would you be worried about the thread remaining on topic?

I haven't got the answer. Got a link to and airport map (much appreciated) but it doesn't answer my question. What I want to know is if the area with the 4 doors, ATM kiosks etc is on the same level as the area where you come out from the baggage area or if the person I am picking up will need to go down a level or two. Picking up an elderly person who hasn't been out of the country for 40 years so need to make sure
