AVATARS - where do you locate them?

I did use an avatar for awhile - beautiful ladies & Marlon Brando. Now, zero.

Where do you find them? eg which website

The worst, in my opinion, are those with a pic of the member or member & spouse in a condescending pose.

Mine is unique. Built many years back with a free version of Softonic GIF Construction Set.

just type your avatar style and Google it under picture.

you can resize it.

as suggested, Google for you image then resize it 150x150 and the forum software will do the rest.

You can also use a site like "gravatar" to upload and change you avatar image.

The Internet is a gigantic Database,so as with any Database,you need to build a search condition,for what you are searching for,in your simple case try :Free Avatars,......Animated Avatars, etc.

I found Cecil the murdered lion just by looking for pics of him. for my previous kitten ones i just googled kitten avatars.

In the next few weeks i shall be looking for a cute christmassy one.

I don't like the ones that move around, they make my eyes go funny. And there is a way to stop them moving.

But you do have to get a pic that is quite "in your face" , like Cecil. Otherwise us oldies can't work out what it is!!! Even with my specs on!!
