I don't know if this is the right forum to place this question

My wife has been an Australian PR for about 10 years so she

ask for Australian citizen ship she done all the test's supplied

all document's she past with flying colors but one thing she had

not got ( fingerprint's from the past 6 month's ) So we went to the

AFP which does normally does that

( wait for this )

we don't do this anymore for immigration only for local issues

like work related issues ( Police clearance for jobs and so on }

So my wife has been told to get in touch with the Thai

embassy ( went there wasted our time again ) they told her

to get in touch with the Immigration department that is where

she started out and nobody knows the answers

I guess my wife has to book a flight to Thai and spend

a lot of money just to get her print;s done

Exclusions from biometrics collection

Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents and New Zealand citizens are excluded from biometrics collection.

A person does not need to provide their personal identifiers as part of the application process if both of the following apply:

they are eligible to make, and have lodged, an electronic visa application

the application is one of a type, or equivalent to a type which could have been lodged electronically prior to 23 March 2013.

Applicants for an Australian Declaratory Visa or Australian Citizenship and APEC Business Travel Card holders are also excluded. Applicants who are less than 15 years of age, incapable people, or those physically unable to provide a fingerprint scan, only need to provide a facial photograph.

If an applicant is an incapable person or under 16 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must be present when biometrics are collected.
