bringing in power tools

just wondering if its ok to bring into thailand new power tools for personel use.ive tried buying some 18v cordless tools and not find.

so i bought a new set(drill,grinder,tech screw drill,torch)miwaukie.will customs let me bring in,from Australia

You may or may not be asked to pay duty upon arrival. That said, they generally only look out for tobacco and alcohol.

Do realize that you likely cannot check in the batteries with the airline if there is lithium involved.

I've brought in numerous cordless tools. Never been stopped by customs.

that being said you may have to pay duty if checked.
