Which Atms allow 20000 withdrawal in one transaction ?

Recommended Posts

The ATMs are configured to dispense a set number of notes, not a value.

So if it's only got 100 Baht (run out of 1,000 and 500 Baht) notes you're stuck with a maximum of 2,000 Baht sad.png

IIRC Bangkok Bank ATMs will hand out 25 notes smile.png

Bangkok Bank 25000 (from own monthly experience)

Krungsri 30000 (from own experience)

CIMB 30000 (read in the forum)

ALL others I know 20000 (SCB, Kasikorn e.g.).

The remark about "only 500" simply means its been emptied of all its 1000 notes.

You were (repeatedly?) unlucky.

What card do you use?

In most cases simply walk to the next ATM without additional fee.

They all give out at least 20k ,as long as there is enough 1k notes to meet your requirements as mentioned

A lot of Bkk bank machines give 25k now and yellow machines often 30k

Aeon used to give 100k but I heard they stopped doing this "high" limit

TMB offers 30k. Aeon is only 20k max. Fees for non-thai bank cards are now 200 baht per transaction.

Recommend using machines in malls, close to bank branch, or 7-eleven. Likely to be stocked with notes.

Yes I had read Krungsri was 30,000 possibly here but it wouldn't accept my Revolut Card to that level only 20k for some reason

Clearly at that level it couldn't have been the amount of Notes issue

They are restocked pretty early in the banks' working day. Go to a mall ATM or bank branch ATM in the morning after 10:30 am and you should find a fully stocked machine. Yes - Krungsri is 30k and BKK Bank 25k (regular personal experience in rural Isaan/ central Bangkok). Never found a machine from another bank at less than 20k, unless it was short of notes.

rolleyes.gif Happened to me last Saturday.

ATM was close to empty....had only 12500 baht left and said so.

My Bangkok Bank Be1 card will go to 25,000 per a single request but no more (preset by me when I got the card issued)

I asked for 20,000 but that ATM came back with a message saying it only had 12,500 available.

I hadn't realized they did that before.... new thing for me.

Another ATM in the same mall gave me 20,000.

TMB, Krungsri and CIMB are all 30k

Bangkok Bank is 25k

Everyone else is 20k

As pointed out, that's only provided they're stocked with 1000Bht notes.

If not, it's 30, 25 or 20 times the largest denomination in the machine.
