Anyone own or can give some advice or opinions on bmw 320 325, year about 2006/2009 am thinking about buying one. There seems to be alot of them out there for sale. Besides the higher service and parts costs, what else should i look out for when trying to buy a good one.

I owned a 5 series BMW in the USA, the 533I. Nice fun car to drive but you hit it on the head, service and parts cost will eat you up. I once paid $1,200 for a new muffler and exhaust pipe, that's 43,230.002 baht. Consider buying something more Thai friendly like the Japanese models. Just my opinion, I have a small Mazda 2 Sport here.

All you have to do is think about all the older BMW's that have Nissan and Toyota engines.

Is it a 320d you are thinking off ... if so google bmw timing chain recall.

In fact googling for any problems is a good idea.

Service history, genuine mileage, spare wheels always seem to disappear. Windscreens expensive, check for cracks. Nothing beats a jap car in Thailand for value, parts etc.
