I fly with them to Phuket and back last June. I think they have about 4 flights a day. best to book a week before or so (or more) because then can be full.

Service and plane were good to my opinion!

i flew 3 or 4 times 6 months ago between Phuket-BKK/ Bkk- Phuket, no probs at all, on time flights.. Booking online was easy, just do it at least 2 days inadvnace and double check everything before you put it through.

What was the reason of delay? Where did you buy your tickets on line or in airport.

If it was in new airport explain to me the way to go to domestic flights for buying tickets and cheque in please

Local agent in KAta supplied tickets after they refused my Visa on web site.

Delay was never explained . :o

Beware of the 1-2-Go "iPass" which purports to offer six flights anywhere on 1-2-Go's network for 9,999 Baht. As happens so often in Thailand, there is a rack of unpublished rules and regulations governing use of this pass which one only finds out when it's too late. The original iPass flyer offered free flight changes. That is no longer the case - they charge you 500 baht per change (and this information is now published on the website, probably after my remonstrations on the subject). What is still not published is the fact that any changes must be within 30 days of the original date of travel. So I'm 3,333 Baht poorer and will never use 1-2-Go again - a pity because I felt sorry for them following the accident at Phuket (I was in the vicinity at the time - the winds and weather conditions were very, very strange) and wanted to support them again.

Much as I love this country, one of its least endearing features is that "The Customer Is Always Wrong".

Everyone should be aware that 12go has been banned from flying to the European Union. I smiled at their response to this ban which was reported in the Phuket Gazette at the time, that the company was unconcerned because it didn't fly to Europe in any case! There are a significant list of airlines (probably the majority are African) who are banned from Europe, with these bans being put in place because of failings in safety standards and maintenance. Where they fly to is irrelevant, but the ban is an indication that their quality control, and hence passenger safety, do not meet an acceptable standard. Travellers beware!!

Why would you want to go with 12gos old aircrafts and retired pilots, when airasia have new aircrafts and uptodate staff? Done it twice with 12go, and NEVER again. Would rather go by buss......

My secretary once booked Nok Air for me. A month in advance.

On the way back from BKK-Phuket, I got to the counter and they said, "sorry, the plane is full". I said "no that's o.k., I have a confirmed seat", they continued on with "you cannot go, plane is full".

To make a long story short I ended up in the stews cabin in a jump seat, had to sign a waiver.

Kii Nok Air......

We needed to fly HKT to BKK on new years day, but by the time I got around to making a booking, the AirAsia and Thai flights were full, and Nok wasn't flying. Our only choice was 12go, and I reluctantly made a booking.

I was really dreading this flight, but once onboard, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything that was "customer facing" was just as good, if not better, than AirAsia. The aircraft interior was clean and in good shape, the flight crew was pleasant, the flight was on time, and there was even free food and drink. I can't speak for the non-customer facing aspects, which are much more important (like maintenance, training, etc), but overall, our experience was much better than I expected.

At the end of the flight, when the pilot normally does his little "welcome to BKK" patter, I was expecting to hear a heavy Thai or Malay accent. Wrong - it was an American, who had most likely worked for Southwest Airlines in the states, and probably forgot that he was in the middle of Southeast Asia now. His patter was the standard SWA southern-drawl with lots of humor and sarcasm thrown in (in good taste, though). Made me smile, listening to him and looking around the cabin at the mostly Thai passengers with a confused "huh?" look on their faces.

If, like me, you'd read all the pilots' blogs and talked to the insiders about all this airline's crass neglect SINCE the big Phuket crash, you would also take the bus.

Or crawl over broken glass......

Booking 6 flights with 1 2 Go a bit like playing Russian Roulette with a gun having a 6 round chamber.

They are banned from landing in the EU because of security reasons. Must have a reason, mustn't it?

The crash they had in Phuket was clearly a pilot's fault comitted by an indonisian captain. Yes, they used to have US and Australian pilots, one of them i met and he himself told me about not working instruments. Better make a bungy jump and hope the one who calculates the rope is not adrunk.

well, seems you have a good life-insurance....

this airline falsified almost ANY document an airline can falsify, and there is no reason to believe that their attitude has changed.

their owner is a scrupulous %"$§%$%*# with no feeling of responsibility whatsoever.

ask the relatives of the FOREIGN victims of their 2006 crash if only one of them has received any compensation.

if that's still not enough, try the INVESTIGATEUDOM website.

any foreigner with a minimum of common sense would never book a flight on this "airline" again....

If he is scrupulous as you say, then why worry, should be good.

Scrupulous:

1 : having moral integrity : acting in strict regard for what is considered right or proper

2 : punctiliously exact : painstaking <working with scrupulous care>

I use 1-2-GO with no qualms.

I'm fairly certain that 'siam2007' meant to say 'unscrupulous'. Bans by bodies such as the EU or FAA are inevitably as a result of root cause analysis of accidents involving such airlines, and a failure to address the deficiencies of an investigation. Bans are ultimately put in place to protect passengers, not to commercially penalise airlines. We all have choices of course, but why shorten the odds??
