Katmanzu
Hi, What if you fail to pay for an AirAsia ticket at a 7-11 outlet that has been booked on-line? They say you will have to complete the payment within 24 hours of booking it. Will you end up having to pay the penalty next time you book a ticket or will you not be allowed to book a ticket on-line and pay for it at a 7-11 for a certain period of time then? Thank you in advance.

KhunBENQ
No penalty and how could they? Airlines know that this happens in a certain percentage and take the risk. To keep the risk low some will not allow very short notice bookings with this payment (like min. 72h before) and will make the maximum payment period short (like 24h). asdecas
You will be crowd-shamed on your next AA flight: mid-journey an attendant will make you stand up, point at you and shout, "He booked but didn't pay at 7/11!".

If it happens a second time, you will be forced to work as a flight attendant for free on a China-mainland bound flight
Sutty
The question is why book a ticket in first place if your not going to pay???
martin81
Actually you pay for airline tickets some times many months in advance and you actually do not receive the product( in this case the flight a to before you arrive at the destination. So allowing you to cancel by not paying at 7-11 does not hurt them much. With many other products you receive the product and then pay for it. nithisa78
No problem. The airlines overbook all the time.
