Help Accessing Thai Hotline

Hey there. I'm trying to access the Thai Customs Customer Care center. I've found the website and phone number but I have no idea how to actually call it. It's only four numbers (1164). I've tried calling 011661164 but that does nothing.

Any ideas on how to dial this number effectively?

Did you try dialing just 1164? Many numbers are abbreviated here.

Hey guys. Thanks for responding. I am calling from the US. I tried calling the -6000 number earlier and spoke with someone who told me that I had called the wrong division, to call 1164. The only way I know to dial 1164 and reach Thailand is to dial 011661164. I have to at least dial out of my country and into Thailand, but it doesn't work.

Any thoughts?

Yes. From within Thailand you can dial 1164, from outside +662 667 6000

Strangely, when I dial that number, if I press "9" for English, no one answers. If I press "0", I get a human.

Quite sure none of these four digits service numbers can be called from abroad.

Not so different from comparable cases in other countries.

So I think we can take from this that the international access number to contact the Thai Customs Customer Service Centre is +662 667 6000

and that if you call within Thai time office hours they answer the phone.
