Re-entry permit

Recommended Posts

I want to add that Re-entry Permit is not free of charge.

You must pay 1,000 Baht for single Re-entry Permit or 3,800 Baht for multiple Re-entry Permit (valid for one year).

A multiple re-entry is not valid for one year, it's valid for the same period as your permission to stay. In the OP's case the multiple re-entry permit would only be valid for the same 60 day permission to stay that his tourist visa gave him.

Yes, that is correct.

I just wanted to say that the maximum validity period of a multiple Re-entry Permit is one year. If you have a one year permission to stay it may be useful if you are planning to travel out of Thailand more than 3 times during one year.

If you are traveling on an Indian passport you will be unable to obtain a Thai visa anywhere in the region.

Indian nationals must apply for visas at a Thai Embassy/Consulate in India.
