Sheryl
Moved to the Thailand visa forum. Yes, you can get a re-entry permit, single or multiple. Can apply at immigration or, if traveling by air, at the airport.
ubonjoe
You can get a re-entry permit that will keep your 60 day entry valid when you re-enter the country.
Middle East
I want to add that Re-entry Permit is not free of charge. You must pay 1,000 Baht for single Re-entry Permit or 3,800 Baht for multiple Re-entry Permit (valid for one year).
Sophon
I want to add that Re-entry Permit is not free of charge. You must pay 1,000 Baht for single Re-entry Permit or 3,800 Baht for multiple Re-entry Permit (valid for one year). A multiple re-entry is not valid for one year, it's valid for the same period as your permission to stay. In the OP's case the multiple re-entry permit would only be valid for the same 60 day permission to stay that his tourist visa gave him. I just wanted to say that the maximum validity period of a multiple Re-entry Permit is one year. If you have a one year permission to stay it may be useful if you are planning to travel out of Thailand more than 3 times during one year. Indian nationals must apply for visas at a Thai Embassy/Consulate in India. Edited November 28, 2015 by expatbrit
ubonjoe
You cannot get tourist visa in Laos or any nearby country. See this from the Vientiane website: http://vientiane.thaiembassy.org/upload/pdf/RestrictedCountries2013.pdf
