It is a bit early to actually declare the Tesler a flop yet .

Ive enjoyed the Rotary road NSU and Mazda very much, but the public didnt care for them .How the hell can you use a Tesler in say Alaska or Norway in the Winter months,You need a bucket of Kilowatts to warm it up.Seems these Battery Rides are restricted to warm climes. Just my thoughts, lets here more verdicts .coffee1.gif .

HVAC uses far less electric power than driving does - so not that big of a challenge.

Norway actually leads the word for EV sales: http://www.forbes.com/sites/niallmccarthy/2015/07/23/norway-leads-the-worlds-market-for-electric-vehicles-infographic/

That's a Tax incentive difficult to fail.Stll no firm argument so far why the US are using tax payers money to fund it..

Who are Tesler and what are they making?

I assume he means this.

Tesla Model S in Thailand

Toyota have sold millions of Priuses (prii?)

This thread is a pretty spectacular flop.

The infamous Austin Allegro, affectionately called the "All Agro"..

Indeed, needs a piano dropped on it at the very least.

I like the Allegro. It had its flaws, but at least it wasn't boring.

Tricity has no Tricity ,strange choice of name there. Gets good reviews though.

For biggest flops in recent history, and Thai related, the Chev TH passenger car range is a good place to start :P

Indeed, good reviews, rubbish sales. Brilliant flop. Fits the category perfectly.

They sure do want to charge a premium for that extra wheel ;)

No wonder no-one buys it

There's no flies on you IHMO!

Don't start with a S if you want a hit.

My English isnt good to work this S thing out. Sunbeam wasnt a flop or most on the list.

I don't think any of those S cars are produced any more.

Thank You IMHO. Ive just asked my Norway Chum whats the best selling Motor over there. His Reply, "Evinrude or Yamaha at a guess". Time for an early Leo i guess...gigglem.gif .He can Drive today.thumbsup.gif

No cars are currently being made under the Saab name.

Saab...?

Most names have been bought out or removed from manufacturers lists.

I thought Plymouth was a great name but.......

Saab went bankrupt in 2011, don't know if another car bearing the Saab name has been produced since.

They made a small number of cars in 2013 whilst gearing up to become a producer of electric vehicles under Chinese ownership, but that initiative seems to have stalled.

Ace, Flops can be difficult to define or agree on. If the company has gone bankrupt or died from low sales, i suppose it's a flop.
