loong
A couple of days ago there was a segment on television with kids talking about their Dads. I thought that it was quite cute. Now I see that the creators have realised that they didn't complete the job. They have now corrected the error and dubbed on cartoon sound effects. Sad! 01322521959
The cartoon effects are put in everthing from drama to adverts. Its like all the producers are brainwashed into thinking this is really acceptable on any level
jacky54
They are a left over from silent film effects, but without them the viewer would not know where the funny bits are.

xen
I know there are a few stand-up comedians in Thailand doing western style stand-up but they not mass appeal and not very popular as i understand it. I ponder if they did appeared on Thai TV if the soundman would need to add the boings , whistles and fart sounds too or would he have to elevate his humour sophistication first to know when to insert a boingggg ,or would it even matter at all to the audience that could not understand a joke without a bucket of flour being throw..
