Recommended Budget Hotel/Homestay near MBK, Asoke, etc

Featured Replies

Interested in a nice budget hotel or hostel up to THB 1600 per room for 2 days.

We need to get 3 rooms so perhaps an apartment could be an option although doubt we would get a central one.

Any recommendations?

There are a couple near Asoke.

One is in Sukhumvit Soi 25 ... next to the italian restaurant. I think it's named PREM : Enter the soi then 50m on the right ... very popular.

Another is off Asoke rd ... head down Asoke road from the main intersection toward the shopping strip. Turn right at the first soi ( has a SCB bank on the cnr ) ... go down 60m and it's on the left side of the road. Opposite a small coffee shop & travel centre.

they are the cheapest and best around Asoke in that price range.

Thanks tried googling it but no luck and unfortunately not in BKK so cant wander round.

Woraburi Suk 4 is quite o.k. Take the standard room though, 1100thb. The one last night I was there I took the 900thb special, mistake. Standard rooms are on the upper floors near to the pool, the special, lower floors where I had ISIS members across the hall, not to mention the bathroom shower doesn't drain as well being on lower floors.

Google swiss grottino bkk….call direct….its behind robinson on soi 19….perfect location and very nice rooms….quiet, discreet.

Haggle….ask for 1300b per night….settle on 1500….no more please.
