nakorn pathom river tours? anyone done one or any info?

hello, i have an idea to take the train up to nakorn pathom on a weekend stay overnight, and in the old khlong tour boat they say there are boat tours, unfortunately it see pretty dated, so am curious if they still exist, or anyone done one lately?

looks like there is a festival there around xmas time this year full moon.

any advice also on a mid level priced place to stay, thanks
