    Yes, at Laos they have historically put a "blue stamp" on the last visa they will issue. Back in the days of double-entry visa, they only issued you a single-entry, at that time. The blue-stamp says

The Lao visa on arrival offices official closing time is 6 pm. If they are busy they are open a little later.
