Uk Passport Staff To Strike

Featured Replies

The BBC news website reports that "Thousands of passport workers are to stage a 24-hour strike in a row over pay, which union officials say will severely disrupt passport applications.

The Public and Commercial Services union said 2,500 staff would walk out in Liverpool, Peterborough, Durham, Belfast, London, Glasgow and Newport.

The strike will be followed by a week-long work to rule."

I can certainly see how this is relevant to Thailand. :o

With the recent changes to the visa rules I suspect many long term residents of Thailand will be returning to their own country to get new "clean" passports and purchase mult-entry visas. Those planning on making a quick "1 week" trip to UK for this pupose should be aware of possible delays in procuring a new passport. Yes this information is very relevant to Thailand :D

Got baby girls first new one today in bangkok on time no problems

News just in, London underground workers to strike next month...

Wow I got the bts to nana today just fine...

I think it may be of interest to many Thailand fans in both countries. Mr Summer T, you are a new member, can I suggest you spend some getting to know the forum before jumping in with your opinions as to the validity of a thread, let the mods do their job, if needed.

As a mod, I tend to agree with Summer T. It has naff all to do with Thailand.

Scouse.
