MOT

Any know if my car's power steering and air con have to work to pass the 'MOT'?

Doubt whether it would be noticed on the power steering (my test station wouldn't )unless it's pissing oil all over the ground it's driven 'straight' on to brake rollers and off as for air con not compulsory to have it.

The few times I went they just checked the brakes, lights, and exhaust emissions. That was it.

The power fluid's pissed out already so that's not an issue.

calling it an MOT is a bad comparison, but at least we know what you mean. in my view if it drives and has the correct chassis number it'll pass.

They've only ever tested the brakes on my honda....that's why you see so many rusted wrecks on the roads.

I can't imagine you drive a car with it's power steering not functioning though..that must be really heavy to turn!
