Where To Go For An Education Visa / Worried Laotian

Featured Replies

Hello All!

Two questions:

1) I attend AUA and can qualify for an Education Visa, but what are my location options? Any suggestions?

2) My friend is from Lao and is not sure how the new rules affect him. He lives in Thailand with his Thai girlfriend and wants to stay in Thailand. Any advice here?

Thank you for any advice you have. I've been reading your posts and have learned so much from you!!! Thanks! :o

Are you sure about AUA and a visa? I was just talking to them in Chiang Mai today and they told me they don't have the certification with MoE. Maybe AUA in BKK etc is different.

I would imagine most consulates would give you a single entry 90 day "ED" visa and then you could get a 1 year extension in country. For a multi entry "ED" visa then probably KL is your best bet. I am in the same boat contemplating Payap university for language program.
