I think it's a case of "Garbage in/Garbage out!" You can't expect people to think like individuals when they are feed a load of crap during their formative years.

I'd be happy with the fundamentals....like commonsense. Intelligence is a product of genetics, diet, upbringing and education and will take much longer.

May your minds be filled with intelligence but we won't help in any way by improving the education system as the last thing we, and everyone like us, wants is an intelligent , thinking populace.
