Cycling Philippines

Featured Replies

Heading to PI with my MTB next week for around three weeks.

Any suggestions of where to go etc etc

Thanks

JC

Fly into Cebu and island hop 5 islands:

Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Camiguin, and Negros.

I've got a 12 day tour planned but that's riding every day.

With a day off here and there and a couple of detours you should easily be able to stretch it to 3 weeks.

Cool, I'm getting psyched!

Reserved a Kubo (Philippino style hut) in Timberland in Metro Manila which is well know for MTB trails with my third day there joining the Camelbak Podium MTB Race I'm entered in.

Thinking about heading up to Sagada from there, which is just north of Banaue (in MESmith's post)

Then down to Baguio which is still Northern Luzon

Perhaps followed by a week on the islands, fly to Negros and take a boat to Siquijor.

Of course depends on who I meet and what the locals suggest, how time goes etc. etc.

In 2014 I went to Angles- Manila - Cebu - Panglao - Bohol - Oslob - Moabol - Panay - Ilioco- Guimaras - Roxas - Boracay cycling in Cebu, Panglao, Bohol, Moabol, Guimaras and Borcary.
