Beads and charms for jewellery making

Featured Replies

Hi there, I will be in Bangkok in 2 weeks time for a few days.

Can anyone tell me where is the best place to buy beads and charms for making jewellery. Im not after precious stones/gems etc.

I like silver beads and buddha charms. My friend said there is a mall somewhere and they sell lots of these things in the basement but she cant remember where.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chutuchuk (JJ Markets) . You will have to walk all the liitle ally ways but the small section that runs parallel to Khampung Phet 2 Road there are a few that I have used at times for beads in particular . Then wander around and find more.

Sorry I can't post a map but you will find some there.

The mall she could be talking about could be JJ Mall . Same location .

My friend from France comes each year and goes to the palladium mall in pratunam to buys beads. I believe she said the basement too,so it may be the place you heard of

I saw a lot of stuff at Wong Wain Yai , you can take the BTS there.

it is the area with many leather shops and shops that supply items to make shoes ,

When you get off BTS at Wong Wain Yai ( cross the river) head towards the Traffic circle .

if you need better directions let me know

Silver in Chiang mai area.

Cheap beads and the lot in Chinatown.

Chatuchak is great but you may also be walking around for ages trying to find what you want. Pinn shop in B2S, central world is amazing for crafts and they have all sorts of odds and ends, i would try there.

Yes Pinn shop is perfect - and that part of b2s has loasdds of great craft stuff. Chinatown is also really great though for stuff like that

Sampeng matket, maybe bkk personal shopper can help?
