Clip 1. Developing situation could clearly be see ahead, OP appears to take no action until the last moment.

Clip 2. Should have held back and not gone down the left side of the pickup. Given the road layout, highly likely traffic from the right lane would wish to move to the left.

Clip 3. After reversing. OP moves off from rest. Drivers responsibility to ensure it is safe all around the vehicle before moving. However motorbike driver was a bit dumb to do what he did, but TIT.

Am I qualified to pass comment? You decide. UK Government Approved Driving Instructor grade 5 (6 is top) regularly asssessed, for 24 years. Driving HGV C+E @ 44 tonnes commercially inc. in London for a similar time. Have held a RoSPA Gold Advanced Drivers cert. (retested every 3 years) for 12 years. ( highest standards achievable by a civilian). Driven in 14 countries. Done a fair amount of driving in Thailand inc. Bangkok (Victory monument), Pattaya and long distance.

When driving never assume anything and always expect the unexpected.......... especially so in Thailand!

Qualified? Eminently so... for the UK. All the driving gongs and certificates in the UK, circling the Victory Monument and weekend trips to Pattaya mean bugger all in LOS (but you knew this already).
