riclag
This fits in with the irony of Thai official rules. Recently the Thai Gov has started to enforce and clean up the beach beautification image by restricting food vendors that set up there shacks on the beach to only weekends instead of everyday in attempts to beautify their beaches lol. What about the tons of trash that wash up on the shores every year??? Mae Phim looked liked a land fill 1-11-16.One local said it must of been from a tour boat lol. In the states these beaches would of been shut down and the people responsible for what causes this every year held responsible.
OJAS
This particular beach is also trashed by the noise pollution caused by the local boom-boom brigade who show up every Sunday in their droves in vehicles equipped with huge loudspeakers powered by megawatt sound systems, with the sole and avowed aim of bringing some meaning to their sad and pathetic existences by causing the maximum annoyance and inconvenience to others as is humanly possible. Thai culture in some cases(what ever attitude) lets crank it up and it doesn't have to be at the beach either.Several years ago the resort staff would come into work for 6am,their ride would drop them off with the music blasting. So much for staying on the side facing the beach. But getting to the OP the Mae Pim beach is a land fill. Some other beaches in Rayong attract these maggots too. Explains why a lot of beachfront properties (expensive as.. in other parts of the world) are derelict and worth nothing in many places here. Law enforcement being virtually non-existent if no moneys can be extracted.
