i have had my eye on few of these bikes recently, can buy 2013 one with 8k on clock for around 180k. ive seen one in bangkok for sale its a 2010 model with 21000 k on clock. its up for 130.000 baht , i have offered 100000 baht . ok , so what i want to know is this, if i was to buy this bike

1. how long does it take for the change over of names etc ?

2. do i need to have my international driving licence with me ?

3. can i drive this bike on the chon buri byspass expressway as i need to take it to pattaya.

4. the colour of the bike is not my style, how much would it usually cost to get the tank / wheels / panels sprayed jet black to match the rest of the bike.

2. Maybe someone can confirm, your international license (IDP) is only valid for 6 months here, in that time you need to exchange it for a Thai DL.

So, if you have a license with bike entitlement from back home - then you just exchange it, if not, take the test and get a 2 year temp.

Spray the wheels ? You're better off powder coating the wheels. TBH your better to spend your money on a new set of tyres, update the springs, a good exhaust and a power commander.
