For all who wants to apply for visa in the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Bangkok. Besides fee for visa listed in USD on their website there is another hidden fee.

The only way to pay for visa is Bangkok Bank near Silom, but when you come there to pay they will charge 500 THB fee - they call it "commission" but bank commissions are never that high.

I don't know what is the deal between bank and embassy but be prepared for that! It is not written on the website. I tried to avoid it by making money transfer from Bangkok Bank USD account (my gf has one). Girl in embassy said they will not accept anything else that "blue paper" with 500 THB commission from Bangkok Bank. So there is no way around it.

Hi PSTBKK,

Thanks for the heads up. Can I ask what documents you took to get the visa? Ive read some places that you require hotels and flights in and out and others which just say passport and copies and a written itinerary.

Thanks
