Unwanted Junk Mail.

I have been getting junk mail for weeks now from viagra companies, they even keep asking me to allow them to phone me.

I have never even inquired about viagra, and how could they have got my phone number?

I let them pile up in my junk mail box, there is now 84 of them, I thought they would have been deleted after 10 days.

I have blocked them time and time again. Just how do I get rid of them?

Do the emails show your phone number ?

If not, then it's just Phishing, best is to ignore them and delete them and let them go directly in the "Round archive"

My Gmail sends all that stuff directly to SPAM.

Gmail does indeed do a excellent job in putting such junk email into your Spam folder which you can look at or not. I look at my Spam folder about once a week and I have to say that gmail does almost a 100% job of keeping Spam out of you inbox and puts it in your Spam folder for review at your leisure...and if you don't review it any Spam over 30 days old gets deleted automatically.

That is not ordinary spam.

Any idea where they are located ?

It could be that it's the same BS as here in Thailand when you buy (for example) a car and you get pestered (by Insurance Agents) about the time your car insurance is up for renewal

Edit: But how did they get hold of both your Email and Phone Number ? Phone Number yes but email at the same time ?

I do not know where they are located, they also keep asking me to confirm my address in Phichit (I live in that province).

I don't know how they got my e-mail address and phone number, and yes, both at the same time.

They must have lots of people working for them, or maybe the same person using different names.

The last thing you want to do, even to complain or make your thoughts better aired, is to reply to any of the mails you are receiving. This will flag your address as being "live".

It certainly doesn't sound like normal blanket spam, not with the addition of your phone number.

Do all the emails come from the same address, or at least the same domain, ie, [email protected]? If they all come from the same domain, blacklist it by *[email protected] , have them all sent to the deleted items folder and forget about them...............wink.png

(not sure how you blacklist with your client)

I am using Outlook, there is an arrow next to the junk mail button scroll it down and you will find Block. Try that.

I cannot see an arrow next to the junk mail button.

On my blocked mail senders, it is absolutely full of blocked e-mails that I never put there, and the ones I put there yesterday are not there.
