Pm Me?

Featured Replies

Sorry for the ignorance but does PM stand for personal mail? How does it work and when is it appropriate to use?

PM stands for Personal Message.

If you press the p_pm.gif button underneath the member data beneath the avatar, you will be able to send a personal message to that member.

It's a bit like an email system inside the ThaiVisa Forum software for members.

When is it appropriate to use?

Anytime you feel like it.

You may wish to contact another member to ask for additional information about something they posted... you might want to contact another member with whom you feel you share like-minded views... and exchange personal information such as telephone numbers and email addresses.

Please note that in the interests of protecting the privacy of our members, we do not allow posts in the open forum that contain personal telephone numbers or email adresses.

Hope this helps.

Mods can not read PMs between members, but are able to read PMs specifically sent to themselves - just like other members.
