PATTAYA: -- A 38-year-old man, reportedly from Scotland, was arrested on Walking Street, in the early hours of Thursday, after he is alleged to have punched a City Security Officer in his eye.

The incident occurred outside of the 808 Nightclub and led to the arrest of Mr. Darren Raymond, who was accompanied by his drunk Thai Girlfriend, who appeared to make no effort to control her boyfriend, despite pleas from officers to help them.

Initially, Khun Tongchai aged 37, a Security Officer who is stationed on Walking Street, was on patrol when he encountered Mr. Raymond, who appeared to be acting in an aggressive manner towards passers-by. He approached the Scottish man and attempted to calm him down but was allegedly punched in the face by him.

Woe to the Scot that behaves like an Englishman...laugh.png

Trying to spread blame doesn't get over the fact that he is a SCOT and everyone knows that now. You should admit the truth about your countryman's bad behaviour like an Englishman would.

The Scot has a Thai girlfriend? I doubt if he has ever really had a girlfriend which is why he and many other bogans come to Thailand.

With any luck he will be deported and his 'renta bargirl' will go back to the Super Lucy gogo bar.......start again.

Thailands policy (dream) of attracting only quality tourists will never happen.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed?.

The picture in the main link is this guy being detained in broad daylight. Yet the other picture is obviously nighttime.

When they say early hours - how early?.

Maybe they just keep file photo's of crazy westerners being restrained. facepalm.gif

The picture is clearly indoors, where they have things called "lights" to make it look like outdoors during the day or night.
