T-Cut or similar car polish

Featured Replies

Hi All

In the good old days back in the UK when all I could afford was old bangers with faded paintwork I used to polish then up with T-Cut, which restored a shine and removed any small blemishes, prior to waxing.

Is there an equivalent out here as I am about to buy an older car that has lost it's sheen a bit and got a few small scratches from a cat which uses it as a bed and I want to give it a deep clean before waxing.

Meguires 205 and an orbital polisher should sort

Bought a tin of T-Cut in Central dept store car accessory area not that long ago.

Wow, I didn't realise T Cut was available here but as I haven't owned a car here I haven't looked yet, maybe I should have looked in the shops before asking. ermm.gif

TescoLotus sell Carretex products ... one of which is called something like Paint or Colour Restorer ... it will be very simular to T-Cut
