BANGKOK: -- A Thai woman mysteriously “disappeared” from the balcony of her 11th floor condominium in Din Daeng district this morning after arguing with her American boyfriend.

The man, whose identity was not enclosed, told the police he was having an argument with his girlfriend named "Bua" about her miscarriage in their room at Supalai Condo around 5am today.

Then his girlfriend walked out to the balcony — and mysteriously disappeared, according to Krob Krua Kao.

WTH?

According to Pol. Surin Suksai, a resident on the 9th floor said he witnessed a Thai woman moving past his balcony as she used a rope to rappel down the building. He said she landed on the ground safely and escaped, Thairath reported.

lifts in Thailand have a poor safety record lol

I have rappelled down a rope before from a mere 50 feet and it was quite scary, but I did get somewhat good at it.

Trust me it's tough to find trustworthy rope of even that length in the USA.

Going down from the 11th floor, with Thai quality rope..........No Thanks.

This story has BS written all over it.

Think so.

In Hong Kong I know women who make the rope stunts, but they hang from the ceiling.biggrin.png

Just wondering ... Did they find her on the pavement below the balcony? (Yes, it is a morbid thought and I apologize). Or was it a black hole? Could someone please check if she suddenly reappeared in Kansas?

On the other hand was she prevented to reenter the main room by someone?

"having an argument with his girlfriend named "Bua" about her miscarriage"

Is it just me or is there something really @#$%&! up about having an argument with your girlfriend about her miscarriage?

Their is that of course but I am wondering about the wording.. did she have the miscarriage in their room and then the subsequent argument or just the argument..... a bit ambiguous me thinks

Easy, she had 300m of rope double looped through the rail and she was holding on with both hands!
