Is there a link to the VDO?

Yes. But I won't tell you where.

Aww, here's a hint. Click the LINK, that blue bit of text in the first post of this thread. Scroll down a bit and click the PLAY button on the video there.

Um...

Here is a clue for you JayWalker - that video would not be of interest to me.

So you asked for the link because???

Can't tell if you are trolling or incredibly thick?

Well, I am a bit thick I suppose.

You asked for a link to the video, then said you didn't want to watch it, then I asked why you asked for the link.

Let's put it all to rest.

"The woman in the clip did not file a complaint" said the commander. So does that make it right? This is insane! From the style of skirt, it looks like this "woman" is a student and probably a minor. If the victim is a minor would that make the crime even more serious? The cop should uphold the law and must abide by it at ALL times. Clearly this breaches the trust of the Public from whom he draws his salary from.

Everywhere else in the world if the victim doesnt file a report the police can. Thailand is obviously different

And these are the guardians of our society?

No, they are the leeches living off it.

(And before the usual suspects have a go at me, yes there are some good ones.)

Oh yeah, Thailand is definitely different, in more ways than one.

They do not seem to be very fond of paperwork, unless you are a foreigner trying to live in Thailand. Then they love it.

Cop commits a sexual pervert crime & gets a 500 baht fine.

The guy should at least be fired (and castrated).

What he did would quite rightfully be considered a felony & carry a 5 year jail term in the US. Probably the same in Canada, UK, AUS, NZ etc.

I hate the Nanny States of this world, but I hate perverted sickos even more.

I assume he used a mobile phone, if this happened in the real world his phone would be kept as evidence, and hopefully some kind person would send a SMS to every mobile in his phonebook explaining why he will not be calling them in the near future.

One must be very kinky trying to do this in Thailand, where, as far as I know, women wearing skirts wear at least, besides the underwear in a generous size, an extra covering and some form of trousers.

No justice from the police mafia against the police mafia.

This guy is a sick predator and has no business wearing a badge, disgusting POS, should be locked up to protect society.

I should realise that having been here for over 30 years. I flip into the real world at times, silly me

And these are the guardians of our society?

I'm sure it's OK really?

He probably had a sudden urge.

Would have been uncontrollable poor chap.

Damn, still haven't located the sarcasm font!

I wonder how he interacts with female witnesses or suspects.

He might have a huge amount of Panties at home....or at the police station? laugh.png

Wait a minute..wouldn't that be reason enough to make a real search in his house? Amazing Thailand, Land of Why's.

Its possible that he thought there was some evidence up there and was only doing his job..

Seriously though, if he was wearing his uniform when he did this then he does deserve to be fired. If he did it in his own time and not in proper uniform then he deservers the same punishment as any normal member of the public.. a 500 baht fine would be about right. The punishment of being named and shamed is bad enough.

Someone enlighten me why this went, guessing social media (referring to "online") and not directly to the police station instead? The way I'm reading the article, it would indicate that and no mentioning of "went to the police first, nothing has happened and went online afterwards to get it's due punishment".

It does, however, read that it isn't his first out of the line action and just adding a pathetic 500B fine on that seems too low to call it even.

Also, why didn't the student file a complain with the police? By the video footage she may not have been aware of it, but since she will have been shown the footage afterwards....why not? This just feeds right into the hands of those that can and will blow things out of proportion...I'm looking at you feminism and your obsession for the patriarchy.

This makes for extremely tedious reading. Try to rewrite this in a more educated manner.

...but not as tedious as your forum rule-breaking criticism.

Guess he didn't know that around here a lot of them will show it for free if you ask nicely.

You failed the psychology test. That might give the great copper the "kick" ..before he....goes to aehh the bathroom?

Isn't doing that like "a real crime" in Thailand? Why does this guy still have his job?

Apparently.

poor sod ....imagine if that were the most exciting part of your day ...a grainy glimpse of some cotton and a flash of skin...

pathetic

On a more serious note...why does he still have a job. Sex offenders should not work as protectors of the public.

Oh ..i forgot.. he works for the royal thai police.

H'es more than likely in charge of rape victims and Im NOT joking

Wonder if the film was deleted....or shared with the rest of the station?

If it went to social media first we should have a socila media public trial. Of course the evidence would need to be aired and demonstated to judge the crime.
