FWIW...now all we need is for Russia to authorize Oasis to fly over its airspace and to find an airline that gives a great return Bangkok to Hong Kong deal which will make this actually worthwhile.

Yes, but included in the small print, once you add taxes and surcharges, a return flight works out at roughly 500USD. And that's only for 10% of the seats - the rest are more expensive...

Although I've just got a quote for booking a stupid amount of time in advance, and you can get return economy ticket for 260GBP - still not that cheap considering...

Yeah, first flight out of honkers today grounded because the russians

won't give them overflight rights - you pays your money....

BBC did a price comparison and in several cases prices were more than BA.
