Adele and Rihanna coming to perform, anyone believe it will actually happen?

Featured Replies

They'll have the mp3's playing

still dont understand how ultra wealthy people help the economy? They will only use 5 star facilities owned by farang companies that pay staff the same amount as a 3 star places.

They will be fed by international chefs

they will not take tuktuks to gem shops

Don't worry, as The Donald will be coming as well, he will pay for it.clap2.gif

Adele has just kicked off her world tour and will be in the USA and Mexico in November so I doubt very much she'll be coming anywhere near Phuket laugh.png

In the end there'll be two longtail boats racing and a random guy with a portable mic-speaker combo singing :)

I don't see the whole event happening, so also not these artists.

November is simply not a good month for racing in the open ocean here.

The chances of getting one of these acts, or an act of similar standing, would be quite slim, the chances of getting all these three artistes would be about the same as getting The Beatles, David Bowie and Nirvana to show up.

I'll go if dieber does a Cobain livebah.gif

Another nye patong debacle party in the making.

Remember Laguna advertising ABBA and it ended up being a "faux ABBA" act.

Prepare for some Pattaya ladyboy lookalikes lip-synching show.

Probably would still sell tickets considering how boring the entertainment options are here.

Oh wait no, DJ Dirtbag is performing on Bangla, forgot about that one......

Maybe they spelt it wrong and it's Anna- Rih and Ladee as opening act. cheesy.gif

Zero chance.

It's the typical Thai bait, lie and switch to get early sponsorships, ticket sales and Government support.

Maybe they'll get some D-grade act to perform...but A-grade...never.

Wishful thinking - and I don't care if it happens or does not happen ...

You are in business here, are you not?

Has the Phuket Thai business way of thinking rubbed off on you LIK? "The tourists will come anyway, so we don't care." :)

Amazing how NKM can twist any comment to suit his narrative. Keep on trolling ...

On the brighter side at least we were not bored to tears with a post how it wouldn't work as there would be no affordable transportation to the event.beatdeadhorse.gif
