My cleaning lady somehow broke my 20 year old toilet paper holder in my rented condo.

Any suggestions for the cheapest/easiest way to replace it? The owner doesn't care as long as it looks ok.

Where do they sell that kind of thing? Close to BTS?

Thanks!

The photo of the tissue holder is from a friend's condo in the same building. Mine was the same. American Standard seems not to make it anymore. Loved the ashtray on top for it's kitsch value.

You could check Boonthavorn on Ratchada - we bought there before but as you say believe they are likely not made anymore. Cotto might also be an alternative brand.

Alternative chance is the area in Chinatown having plumbing supplies - know we found a toilet seat there that no large stores had - take photo as they are mostly attic stock rooms but you can often find old stuff. I do not recall road area but some taxi or MC drivers would likely get you there. You might be able to motivate someone to do for you with a finders fee.

I'd sack the cleaning lady ! she should be more careful with your toilet roll holder ... it's a very important instrument blink.png

Not as important as a bum hose. Edited by trd

The hole is 15X15 so really I just have to find something bigger that is not designed to be recessed so I can cover the hole or something recessed which fits.

Homepro had a 100 baht plastic toilet paper enclosure that was 13X13. So close!

I have high hopes for this beauty:

I'm not much of a home repair guy. That will work right and I can just epoxy it in and caulk around the edges? Or just pay the condo "technician" to do it. I guess I can make the recess deeper if I need to but I'm not sure about that.

Hopefully Lixil will ems it to me and save me a trip.

Thanks!
