I suppose you've both right. They're not manufactured here in the same sense as, say, Ardo's favoutite Toyota is, more 'assembled' (hence the higher taxes and therefore joke prices).

Not really, only on anonymous forums. You're proof that for every disgruntled, miserable mug that leaves, two comes to replace him. This is why the foreigner population in Thailand keeps increasing every year. I'm still not sure if that's good or bad, but it is what it is.
