Still on about him!!! Has he screwed your missus or something?

? I'm currently single and ready to mingle.. so he better watch his own missus.

Think it's worth pointing out, England did have a player that could 'pick locks' etc etc. His name was Paul Scholes and he was misused and underappreciated for years. Oh wait, there was someone else too. His name was Michael Carrick and he was misused and underappreciated for years.

Scholes and Carrick are retired. Which makes both of them together quite useless to the England NT.

england mostly need a creative midfielder and just don't have one. got a great striker, got a few lads with pace and technique, but while they don't have an actual playmaker they're going to struggle against top sides. i like southgate a lot and what he's done is really impressive but you only go so far without a lad who can pick top defences apart. dele alli's a cracking talent but it isn't him. loftus-cheek is impressive in ways but it isn't him either. where's the guy who picks locks?

Winks can pic a pass  however he aint cemented his place at spurs yet let alone england.. he like loftus cheek to take the next step on ie be  a 100 % startér like alli kane sterling hes GOT to effect games and in a middies case thats add REGULAR goals to his game at club level b4  he  can / will be considered for an england spot..

Trippier is a dead ball specialist though, and Dier was lucky. At least ALL of them had the balls to step up!

So Tripps has taken a few corner's and free kicks for England and now he 's a dead ball specialist, your getting like Trigg, coming out with incorrect facts to try and prove a point !

Trippier is not a dead ball specialist, merely a right back that can put in consistent good crosses and fairly savvy defender.

When you add Winks to this mix and yes I know he's not the creative player but is young and fits the mould of this young team all looks good for the future of Southgate's squad.

They need another striker though.

He needs to find a way of playing Rashford.  There also needs to be a change in formation because this is not working for Dele ( but not fit) and its not providing Kane with anything like the service he needs to take us further.

Frankly, to quote the Catalan big girls blouse (who can't take criticism) this really is looking like the Harry Kane Team.  You only difference is you don't sound like a complete knob saying it about this team because its looking patently obvious they are massively reliant on him and find it almost impossible to create a goal from open play. ??

I think its a case of quoting a "source that declined to be named"

Where's your scientific statistics to back up such a huge claim??

So alfie, where's  your source that confirms your claim:

"Iv'e always said it, if you hit them anywhere in the top half of the goal no one's stopping em, unless the GK stands up straight and thats where you put it !"

Just spend the  whole of next season referring  to "The Harry Kane Team"; that clearly riles them ?

Your success is so hollow it really couldn't get to us.  Even in the event that you hadn't bought it, i wouldn't be envious, i'd respect it.  Bar the fact you play some great football i have zero respect for City, and as such could never be jealous.

Aaaah, so now the Spurs latest competition is how many players you have in the England team. Is there a trophy for that as well.

Ronnie's wrong, with the calibre of players you buy to ensure your success you couldn't possibly risk your domination buying a lot of English players!!!?

If there was you'd have bought all of our players for a billion quid already.

It's ironic, anybody would think we are Brazil, or France: our opposition tends to park the bus- Sweden will do the same.

I don't think there is a real solution to our midfield problem, but would like to see Loftus-Cheek and Rashford start.

Otherwise, I suppose we could do something off the wall.

This match is going to be a slog.

Absolutely. Sweden play well as a unit, they don't have a super star and so play the waiting game. Soak up the pressure and then try to get a goal from a loose ball. They didn't deserve the win against the Swiss but that's how they played and they got the goal. We are going to have possession and we need to use it.

The feeling is there that at last we are going somewhere (probably home) but I am stocking the fridge with 'Becks' as whichever way it goes tomorrow, it will probably be best done with some calming assistance. France/England final, that's what I'm predicting, so the lads need to start banging them in. Good luck for tomorrow !!!

I suppose it's a daft idea:

But has Trippier ever played in midfield?  You could then push Walker to wing back where he is much more potent.

Daft and desperate !?
