Cooking Gas Supplier

Featured Replies

I've read a lot of the threads on getting cooking gas and I have a problem. I don't drive and am partially disabled. I also don't speak Thai. I have walked up and down Thong Lo and do not see any of the shops with the gas bottles outside (probably the rents are too high). Can anyone recommend a cooking gas supplier in the area that I can call on the phone?

Thanks.

Believe calling would require Thai - isn't there anyone around that could call for you? Those living in the area would know which stores deliver to your location. Normal procedure is to pay on delivery.

If you were specific as to where you are , Bangkok ? etc then we can move this to local forum for assistance.

From the OP he is in Bangkok specifically the Thong Lo area.

AKA Sukhumvit 55.

If you have an empty tank, perhaps drag it out to the front of your place and show to a passing motorcycle taxi driver. He'll know where replacement tanks can be found.

Mac

Just walk to the street, find a person who can speak english and thai and ask him/her where to buy it.....or even better how to let them deliver.

If you have staff / guards working in your building they will have the hook-up for gas. Talk with them.
