Non-O visa before 90days exceed

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,
Now, the first 90 days are over within the next 10days, what am I supposed to do in order getting the next 90 days stamped in my passport? (the "online 90day report" confuses me too, this would only be beneficial for those, who want to extent for another 60days? but doesn't give you "clean" 90 brand new days stamped in?

I read an older post concerning the same issue in this forum, but dated 2013.

Has Anyone some updates (2016) experience about it? (Simple border run, except Poipet,)

As always, I am very thankful for your replies!

N.B.: Additional info (stand January 2016): Still possible getting the Non-O visa (multiple entry) without prove of funds at theThai Consulate in Savannakhet.

  • If you have a multiple entry non 'O' visa you can exit and immediately re-enter at any border to activate another 90 day stay. As long as you re-enter before the expiry date of the visa ('enter before') printed on the visa.

You do not need to make 90 day reports as your permits to stay are limited to 90 days. They are only required by visitors granted stays of more than 90 days.

You seem to have a multiple entry non-o visa. You need to leave and re-enter the country to get a new entry.

You can do a border hop at any border crossing to get the new entry.

No changes at Savannakhet.
