I am getting married to my thai girlfriend. She is thirty years old. When does she need to present the "Single Paper" she is talking about? The paper from her family that shows she has never been married before. Is this submit to the Amphur with Marriage affidavit?

Never heard of such a paper for a Thai to get married. The Amphoe has all the records needed to confirm they are not married.

The only document needed to from the family would be parental consent if under the age of 20.

Ok, maybe that is required when I go to apply for the Non-Immigrant Visa "O" -- Accompanying Thai spouse or family members after obtaining the marriage certificate?

For spouse of Thai nationals

  • Guarantee letter wrriten in Thai from Thai spouse
  • Copy of marriage certificate
  • Certified copy of Thai spouse’s ID card
  • Certified copy of house registration book
  • Other relevant document, for example, copy of Thai child’s birth certificate / ID card

What is the "Guarantee letter written in Thai from Thai spouse"?

Thanks

None of the nearby embassies or consulates require that letter It is nothing more than a letter from you wife requesting they issue the visa.

You need the marriage certificate translating. Once translated the translation needs to be certified by the MFA. ( The translation service can arrange this for a small fee.) Once you have the Certified translation the marriage can be registered at an Amphur ( Your wife will understand). The Amphur will register the marriage and issue you with a certificate.

I doubt you can do this within one day.

The MFA will only certify the translation of your marriage certificate. The Amphoe will want a certification of your marriage certificate from your embassy also to get Kor Ror 20.

You have asked the same question other topics. I answered one here. http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/893437-marriage-certificate-extension-of-stay-requirements/#entry10629283

The best thing to do is get all your paperwork together and have it translated and pay the service to do the MFA certification and the send everything to you by EMS.
