Wheel studs

Recommended Posts

You need to know the 'PCD' of the stud pattern of the car or truck you are buying the wheels for

for example a 4 stud wheel with a PCD of 4x100 won't fit a car that has a PCD of 4x108. Some after market wheels may have 2 sets of studs holes for diffrent PCD's

you can see it explaned here:

http://www.wheel-size.com/pcd/

This is a resourse that gives the PCD for some common car models:

http://www.pexcom.com.au/z32cms/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.561

but if you are buying new wheels best check the PCD is correct ie the holes line up for your car before parting with any cash

hope that helps

Just to clarify PCD = Pitch circle diameter.
