Montreal Erupts in Violent Anti-Israel Protests
My country is fine. A small minority complain, as we Brits like to do, and the weather sucks, and the women are terrible, but it is really only the losers who didn’t make it because of their own laziness who are complaining and scapegoating migrants for their own failures in life. They have nothing better to do. Better than a country famous for mass killings, killings that leave more dead than any “terrorist” attacks. A country with terrible health care, a fentanyl crisis and where 51.9 % hates 47%. A country that lives off junk food and has an obesity epidemic. A country where Jews have a lot more power and influence than the native population. All things considered is probably the worst country in the western world by a long way.- 1

White House Retreats from Public Eye After Trump Victory
Agreed. Soundly defeated 76+ million popular vote vs 73+ million popular vote, no denying the rejection by the American voting majority. I too am feeling estranged from my country. Those who supported Trump and the Project 2025 ilk ... have at it. No, I do not wish "good luck" because while I join in the justified frustration/anger. I think following this direction to be a very serious, sad wrong decision. -

K bank E-mail with Tax Forms attached ?
All over the western world (based on my experience) all these documents issued by banks, department of finances, brokerage firms, etc…are sent by mail, usually with a return envelope but never by email. Some banks or other tax departments have an internal encrypted messaging module you can use after logging into your account. I still have one bank which prefers faxing confidential documents through landline’s connection with a proof of « received » transmission. I don’t know about Thai post but the couple of times I used Thai post my letters never arrived to their destinations. SoI’ll drop the forms at my K branch and get a receipt dated and signed. -
