Guitar/instrument Shops In Phuket

Featured Replies

Thanks for reading; I am looking for somewhere that has a selection of guitars and strings, picks, bottlenecks etc.

If they have used guitars that is a plus, the major plus will be if they have anything left-handed in stock.

Acoustic/electric/semi/whatever is not really important, I'm just looking to get back into an old hobby without spending a fortune.

Slackula, there's a Yamaha dealership at Big C (top floor) but their prices aren't great. I've used a small guitar shop in Phuket town and was quite surprised at the range of accessories they had (I wanted some Martin extralite strings). The bad news is that all I remember is that it's in a parade of shops about 50 yards from a roundabout. Sorry, but I'll try to work out where it was.

Other than that, if you go to the 2 Black Sheep bar in Patong, speak with the owner (I think it's John) or the resident band. They're all musicos and should be able to help. If it's not urgent, PM me and I can bring over some stuff from the UK when I come next.

Thanks for that, I'll head over to BigC and take a look

Very kind offer, but I hope that for my modest needs I'll be able to find what I need here or in BKK.
