Anyone have any info on what's happening on Payoon Beach,Was there for a day last month diggers everywhere, trees being pruned/ destroyed.

Not only Payoon, Nam Rin as well.

They are extending the sit down area out about 10-15m towards the sea, you can see now some parts are finished. Although not 100% finished as i cannot see how you get down to the water from the sea wall they have created?

Big project, over 100M Baht cost.

All they have to do afterwards is put some system in place for collecting all the crap on the beaches. Quite a few people seem to think the best way to get rid of rubbish from the house is to put in a big black bag and chuck it in the sea. It moves 50 metres along the beach and bursts but by that time it's not their problem.

Phala seems to be the worst for that.

As an aside piece it seems that the expression No need to bite my nose off has taken on a new meaning in Ban Chang.!!!!!!
