NLA's Surachai to speed up cooperation on emergency rescue system development

BANGKOK, 27 April 2016 (NNT) - The National Legislative Assembly is determined to speed up integrated cooperation in the development of the country’s emergency rescue system.

NLA’s 1st Vice President Surachai Liengboonlertchai, on Tuesday, chaired a meeting of the committee in charge of integrated cooperation in emergency rescue operations with related agencies, which was called to discuss its operational plans for the country in the current circumstances.

The discussion of the plan took place as Thailand has seen an increase in reckless driving behavior by public bus drivers. Meanwhile the country is becoming an ageing society many of whom wish to remain active.

Mr. Surachai has urged all parties to help in the cooperation to integrate all systems by promoting awareness and understanding about related issues to ensure maximum safety of all who live in Thailand.

The meeting has agreed that some measures can be implemented immediately and they may include the relaxation of traffic laws in some respects.
