Good Bike Shop

Featured Replies

I've brought an expensive bicycle from a German manufacturer with me to Phuket (Stevens). A couple of spokes on the rear wheel broke, where can I take the bike in Phuket to get it fixed properly?

Go to the Talang Bike Shop in ... Talang.

The owner is a good man named K. Pai-toon. Speaks English well, and has good prices.

The Talang Bike shop is the one used by all the athletes and Tri-athletes on the island.

He sets up a tent every year at the Laguna Phuket Triathlon and carries only quality components and Brand name bikes (Trek, Kline, GT, Mongoose and others)

To find the shop:

It's on the outbound side of Thepkasstri Rd. going towards the Airport. Out Side the Shop hangs a Green framed Bicycle with wheels. (it's hard to see so look sharp)

The Best land mark though is, on the opposite side of the road there is a Govn't Building with a long red brick wall that runs along the front. At the end of the red brick wall across the street is the Talang bike shop.

Example of Service: Depending on how busy he is and how many are in the que before you you should get you bike back in 1-4 days.

I dropped off my mountain bike and had it cleaned, oiled, tuned up, new chain and replaced spokes and the whole deal only cost me 500-600THB.

It's a Great Shop Give it a Go you won't be disappointed.
