Does your condo management provide a common area charging point for electic vehicles? With the popularity of electric cars and hybrids. Can anyone give an indication as to the esimated cost of instillation and method of debiting residents for the electricity consumed. I assume different makes of car have individual connectors. How could you overcome this problem with a single charging instillation. -

Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce has launched the Think Thailand Next Level branding campaign to promote Thai products and services. The event, led by Pichai Naripthaphan, took place at Piccadilly Circus in London, aiming to elevate Thailand’s image globally. The campaign’s launch featured a gigantic digital billboard at Piccadilly Circus, a prominent public space and a central hub in London. This location is strategically chosen for its ability to reach approximately 2.08 million people weekly, including tourists, residents, and business professionals. Additionally, the campaign extends to advertisements on London buses, reaching around 2.5 million people monthly. The United Kingdom is considered one of Thailand’s top 10 strategic markets for enhancing the international perception of Thai products and services. London, often regarded as the capital of Europe, provides a significant platform for engaging an English-speaking audience. Pichai emphasised that this initiative would boost recognition and trust in Thai goods and services among UK consumers, tourists, importers, businesspeople, and the media. Piccadilly Circus, established in 1822, is a renowned cultural landmark in London, situated at the intersection of major streets like Regent Street and Piccadilly. This circular public space connects several key roads, drawing tourists from around the world throughout the year. The digital billboard, known as Piccadilly Lights, is Europe’s largest digital advertising screen. Global brands such as Coca-Cola, Hyundai, Samsung, and L’Oréal frequently advertise here, with the screen capable of displaying six different advertisements simultaneously. London’s bus network, one of the world’s largest, features over 9,300 buses operating on 700 routes. Annually, more than 2 billion passenger journeys are made using this extensive public transport system. During the campaign’s launch, Pichai, along with Commerce Ministry executives, influencers, and local journalists, boarded an open-top London Routemaster Bus from Selfridges to Piccadilly Lights. This journey aimed to promote Thailand’s new branding campaign and garnered significant attention from the public and tourists. I don’t think that you’re able to get low dose ketamine here so I’d just stick with what is working for you right now. Everyone reacts different to pain meds. I have had chronic pain ever since I got GBS and they tried morphine which had no effect. Fentanyl which helped but I couldn’t sleep on it and a few others. The only thing that did help was Percocet which I had while in America. Unfortunately they only have the slow release tablets here and they don’t work for me and are expensive. I’m still trying to figure it out with my doctors but it’s not easy. I understand your frustration, but just take what works for you. Chronic pain is not something that I’d wish on anyone. -

Late-Night Fire Engulfs Four Buildings at Kad Luang, Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai's Provincial Police Radio Centre received a report of a fire at 01.00 on September 25, at a commercial building near Kad Luang Market, located in the Chang Moi Subdistrict of Mueang Chiang Mai District. Emergency services, including the Chiang Mai Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department and rescue teams, were immediately dispatched to the scene. The fire broke out in a three-story commercial building, with thick smoke and flames rapidly spreading across the second and third floors. Firefighters promptly called in additional fire trucks and requested that the Provincial Electricity Authority temporarily cut off the power supply to the area to prevent further hazards. Crews worked for nearly two hours before successfully containing the blaze. Four adjacent units were damaged by the fire. Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported. The total value of the damage is still under assessment by authorities. Eyewitnesses recounted hearing a loud explosion while they were sleeping, followed by shouts of "Fire!" When they rushed outside, they saw flames and thick smoke consuming the buildings and spreading quickly to neighboring units. Residents had to flee the area to escape the advancing fire. Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by an electrical short circuit. Police and fire officials are continuing to investigate the exact cause of the blaze. Adding to the chaos, light rain was falling at the time of the fire, and the Ping River’s water level had risen significantly. Floodwaters have already begun to overflow into parts of Chiang Mai city, especially in areas adjacent to the river. -- 2024-09-25 -
