I was wondering if anyone knows the limitation, if any, of the number of tourist visa's any one is allowed per year. My situation is that I work outside Thailand for anywhere between 4 to 8 weeks at a time then return to Thailand for usually a 30 days or so break. I have read on this site about the clamp down on continous 30 day visa usage and wondered would there be a problem for myself. Any thoughts on the point would be appreciated.

Because of your situation in working outside Thailand and arriving by air each time I think you will have no problems.

Because of your situation in working outside Thailand and arriving by air each time I think you will have no problems.

what immigration is trying to "weed out" is people working illegally and using continuous tourist visas to do so.
