There are a couple of weeks between me leaving the apartment I've stayed in for a while and my flight back home.

It's not worth it to get a new apartment so I'm thinking about a guest house. I'm pretty sure there will be some options for 500bath per night. I'll be staying for 2 to 3 weeks.

Clean

Airco

tv

Normal speed WIFI (with this i mean normal surfing speed)

Microwave would be a great extra.

Location doesn't matter much. As long as there are places to eat for a reasonable price and laundry.

grateful for suggestions

Soi Ngam Duplii, but don't expect buttermints on the pillow for 500 baht.

hahaha, no mints.

But i remember 10 years ago there was bloom residence in that area. Also that they didn't have a website. If anyone has a phone number of them I would be grateful. Assuming that they are still there.

Ill also have a look on Airbnb, but i thought they were for apartments.

Personal recommendations are still very welcome, in any part of the city.

Theres a place just off the Bts in Thong lor that is somewhere around that price range. You can see it if you stand on the station.

Cant remember the name now.

Airbnb has apartments, condos, houses and everything in between. It may work ideal in your case as you could maybe score an apartment with full kitchen, fridge and furnishings. Probably for not much more than the price of a guesthouse. They are all available for stays of pretty much any length.

If you use Airbnb be careful that the building you rent from my throw you out if they know you are a temporary guest. In my building for example if you stumble in with a backpack and security doesn't recognize you will be immediately challenged.

Confirm with the owner that they are allowed to sublet or that you will not have a problem. I would much rather spend my time in a condo than some backpacker hostel though.
