North Korea says not to free U.S. citizens until former detainee stops 'babbling'

PYONGYANG: -- North Korea will not negotiate with the United States over two American citizens it is holding until former detainee Kenneth Bae stops publicly talking about his time in prison, state media said on Monday.

Criticized over its human rights record for years, North Korea has made use of detained Americans in the past to extract high-profile visits from the United States, with which it has no formal diplomatic relations.

North Korea arrested Bae, a U.S. missionary, in November 2012 and sentenced him to 15 years' hard labor for crimes against the state.

Its pretty simple though not binding. Bae- shut the F up for a while. No, running your mouth is not the greater good; getting people away from that jackarse is the imperative- then all of you run your mouth.

How does humanity evolve with a north korea making it to modernity (a few other antihuman relics as well). Wouldn't nature have already discarded relics and societal detritus on the way from the past to now?

What I don't get is why my fellow Americans keep going to N. Korea in the first place first of all and second of all, doing stupid stuff to get arrested while there....

EXACTLY. If US nationals go and are arrested, too bad. Let them rot. They know the place is a no go zone.

Totally agree. Only morons would want to go there.

Hmmm I dunno. Some of those North Korean Army chicks are kinda hot...

^ What, no smiley face? Bad form there thaihome.

Just having a giggle mate, anyone who has an interest in world affairs knows North Korea is a police state who starves their citizens and is run by a very bad Elvis impersonator. We can still have a giggle though, can't we?

That goose-stepping gives me the goose-bumps (not to mention they're scarier than the machine guns they're escorting). When's the next flight to Seoul? Thanks for the, ahem, shot in the arm from the pic of the southern military hospitality gals.
