It would appear my question wasn't answered.

Since there is no Thai Wagyu herd, why do you call them "Thai Wagyu steaks"?

I really don't care whether or not you are a forum sponsor, that does not give you the right to misrepresent your products.

I think you should be careful what you say if you don't know the full facts.

To answer your question:

About 7 years ago, Wagyu cattle from Japan was brought over to Thailand and raised here in Thailand. The meat from this animal is usually 100% exported to Japan and that is the reason why you can never find it in Thailand, because usually it is never available.

The general public would not ordinarily know this and that is why you are asking the question above, which is a valid and perfectly reasonable question.

Unfortunately, the tone and incorrect nature of your subsequent reply doesn't seem to be reasonable at all.

We are not misrepresenting the facts at all. The meat we label "Thai Wagyu" is exactly that.

If you do love Wagyu, then the only way to know if our Thai Wagyu is as good as we say it is, is to order it.

We only have a few left though, so if you did want any you'd better hurry.

You won't find better quality wagyu or beef at this price anywhere else in Thailand.

For the ignorant can you please clarify if these steaks are rump, fillet or from somewhere else?

Thank you

These Thai Wagyu steaks are chuck steaks (the Rib and Loin sections of beef produce some of the best steaks. They also produce the most expensive cuts of meat. To get the most for your money I suggest you take a step up and take a serious look at the chuck. The chuck primal sits above the rib primal and includes the shoulder).

Here are photos of 6 wagyu steaks we delivered to a customer yesterday.

The demand has been overwhelming and we are getting another 30 steaks delivered this morning as a special favour from the farm.

Photos attached.
